Description
This Windows Driver is for use with the Promise Ultra 100 TX2 controller card.

Instructions
- Download the UltraTX2driver.zip file.
- Extract the files within to a folder on your C: drive or onto a floppy diskette.
- The following instructions are for the XP operating system. Additional instructions can be found under document 403 in the Knowledge Base.
- From the Windows XP Desktop, right-click on My Computer and then select Properties. If you are not in Windows XP Classic mode, right-click on the My Computer icon located in the Start Menu
- Click on the Hardware tab and then click on Device Manager.
- Double-click on SCSI and RAID Controllers, then on "Promise Technology Inc, Ultra IDE Controller and finally on the Driver tab.
- Click on the Update Driver button
- The Update Driver Wizard starts.
- Click the radio button that says Install from list or specific location (Advanced), and then click Next.
- On the next screen, click the radio button labeled Don't search. I will choose the driver to install., then click Next.
- Click on Have Disk and then insert the floppy disk with the Ultra100 drivers.
- Click Browse, then click the WinXP directory, and finally, click Open.
- Click the ULTRA.INF file and then OK.
- Select WinXP Promise Ultra 100 TX2 IDE Controller and then click Next.
- Click Continue Installation at the Hardware Installation dialog box.
- Click Finish and then click Close from the Promise Technology Inc, Ultra IDE Controller properties box.
- Click on YES to restart the computer when prompted.
