Western Digital's ("WD") warranty information and services varies slightly according to the type of customer. These are the services available to all types of customers:
  • Get specific warranty information
  • Extend your product warranty
  • Return your defective product (create RMA)
  • Get the warranty status of your product
  • Check your RMA status
  • View or print your RMA pre-mailer
  • Get a history of your RMAs

End User Reseller Direct Partner Service Center
A customer who purchases WD product(s) from a reseller, retailer, or from the WD Online Store.
This includes churches, charity foundations, schools, and other organizations who purchases WD products for business use.

A reseller is an Original Equipment Manufacturer, retailer, reseller, distributor, or business entity who
purchases WD product(s) from a distributor or another reseller for the sole purpose of resale. A WD site id is required for these services: product replacement, warranty check, and RMA history.

Customers who purchase WD products directly from Western Digital.
A direct partner must already have an account with WD and is assigned a WD account manager.
