Description
This Windows Driver is for use with the Western Digital Serial ATA RAID controller card. To use, please extract this zip file to a blank floppy.
Supported Operating Systems
  • Windows 2000
  • Windows XP
  • Windows 2003
Instructions
  1. Power off the computer and unplug the power cord.
  2. Remove the system cover ( refer to your system manual for instructions).
  3. Remove the inside slot cover of an available 32-bit PCI slot on the motherboard.
  4. Install the WD SATA RAID Controller into the open slot. Secure the bracket to the system's frame.
  5. Attach your system case's 2- or 4-pin LED cable to the LED connector on the WD SATA RAID Controller.
  6. Connect one SATA data cable to each SATA hard drive and then to the card.
  7. Proceed to load the necessary drivers.
