Description

Plugging the My Passport Wireless into a computer using USB will cause Wi-Fi connected devices to lose connection to the drive.
The Wi-Fi portion of the drive is turned OFF when plugged into the computer.

Resolution

The My Passport Wireless cannot be used as a USB drive and a Wi-Fi drive simultaneously. Turning on the USB Drive Lock option in the Dashboard will let the drive charge while connected to a computer and not turn off the Wi-Fi. However, the drive will not be accessible from the USB while in this mode.
