Installing WD Sync on macOS

WD Sync allows files to be synchronized across multiple computers using a My Cloud storage device.

  1. Go to the WD Sync Download and download the software.
    When the download has completed, unpackage and install WD Sync.

  2. The Welcome screen will appear.
    After reading the EULA, check the I have read and agree to the EULA and WD's Privacy Policy box, and click on Install


  3. WD Sync will start the installation process.
    Please wait.


  4. Once installed, WD Sync will auto discovery the Cloud storage devices on the local network, as well as provide an option to Sign in with a My Cloud remote access account.

    • Select a My Cloud
    • Click Next and following the steps to complete the installation process
