Description
A single-bay My Cloud device with firmware version 2.xx.xxx is unable to create a remote backup to another single-bay My Cloud device.
The Remote Backup feature on a single-bay My Cloud device running firmware version 2.xx.xxx can create a remote backup to a My Cloud device that supports the Remote Server feature. Single-bay My Cloud devices do not support the Remote Server feature and cannot be a backup destination.
Resolution
Single-bay My Cloud devices running firmware version 2.xx.xxx can be configured for remote backup to the following My Cloud devices that includes the Remote Server feature under Setting - Network.
Use the table below to determine which My Cloud device supports being a Remote Backup Target for a single-bay My Cloud with firmware 2.xxx.
