My Passport Wireless mobile app for iOS and Android is now in the Limited Updates phase. During this phase, bug fixes, updates for new features, and OS compatibility patches may stop, but Western Digital will continue to provide security updates for the app to address critical issues.

Unable to pair my device with the WD My Passport Wireless Pro using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS).
The My Passport Wireless Pro is a WPS registrar device which allows other devices to connect to its own wireless network.

Resolution


The My Passport Wireless Pro only supports WPS as a registrar device. Please use the Wi-Fi settings in the Dashboard or the My Cloud mobile app to join another device's network.
