My Passport Wireless mobile app for iOS and Android is now in the Limited Updates phase. During this phase, bug fixes, updates for new features, and OS compatibility patches may stop, but Western Digital will continue to provide security updates for the app to address critical issues.

Description


Plex does not allow login or access without an internet connection.

Plex on My Passport Wireless Pro will require internet access if it is claimed by a media server using a Plex internet account, or if the account is a member of Plex Home.


Resolution


  1. Ensure that the My Passport Wireless Pro has an active internet connection when using Plex
  2. Remove the My Passport Wireless Pro from the Devices screen of the Plex Account being used. This can be done in the Settings area, under Devices
