Description

WD My Book and some external drive are formatted as exFAT.
The NAS, Router and DVR systems may not see the drive if exFAT is not supported.

Resolution

Third-Party Hardware

Check the third-party hardware user manual and KB articles for supported file systems.
Format the drive to a file system that works.
They are normally NTFS, HSF+ or FAT32.
