Description

All LED on a My Passport Wireless Pro are constantly fast blinking blue while in Network Attached Storage (NAS) mode.

Fast blinking Blue LEDs on a My Passport Wireless Pro indicates the device has a problem.

The problem could be caused by:

  • low system memory caused by media scanning and thumbnail generation of added content in parallel with Twonky DLNA scanning
  • low system memory caused by media scanning and thumbnail generation of added content in parallel with Plex Library generation
  • low system memory caused by media scanning, thumbnail generation, and data streaming in parallel
  • moving data from a Write Protected (Read Only) SD card
  • exFAT file system error caused by unsafe USB ejecting
  • file or content data corruption
