Description
My Cloud reports No Internet Connection message although a connection to the internet is not an issue for other devices on the network.
My Cloud devices require DNS and Network Routes to mycloud.com, wdc.com and wd2go.com.
The No Internet Connection message occurs with a My Cloud DOES NOT have a network route to the required domains.
- tracert (Windows) or traceroute (macOS) www.wd2go.com
- tracert (Windows) or traceroute (macOS) mycloud.com
- tracert (Windows) or traceroute (macOS) wdc.com
EXAMPLE: Failed tracert command on a Windows PC

Please contact your Network Administrator or ISP for assistance.

Resolution of your issue can be verified by using:
- tracert command from a Windows console
- traceroute command from a macOS console
- Online browser base networking tools can also be used
