Description
The message "System Rebooting" is displayed on a My Cloud EX4100, DL4100 or PR4100 LCD Screen after a firmware update.
The reboot process did not complete.
Resolution
If the message "System Rebooting" is displayed on the LCD after a firmware update, follow the below steps to power off and on the system.
- Press and hold the power button to power off the unit.
The LCD screen should be blank when powered off. - Disconnect the Power Supply from the power source
- Connect the Power Supply to the power source
- Press the power button to power on the unit.
- After the LED is Solid Blue use the scroll buttons to check the firmware version.
The firmware should be on the latest available release. Click Here and use the drop down menu next to Product Firmware to verify the lastest firmware release has been installed.
