Deleted Content Not Found in the Recycle Bin on My Cloud



Description


Deleted files cannot be found or recovered.

IMPORTANT:
  • Recycle Bin is supported for Windows (Samba) SMB files accessed with File Explorer.
  • It is not a supported on macOS.
    The files can be seen though.
  • Files deleted in the Mobile and Web app are permanent.
  • Auto Clear can be turned on. (default=off)



Resolution


Turn on Reycle Bin Auto Clear.
Use a higher file retention time.

  1. Access the Dashboard.

  2. Click Settings.

  3. Click General.

  4. Scroll to Services.
    Click Configure.

  5. Change File Retention Time to a higher number. (default=30 Days)
    Click Save.
