My Passport Wireless mobile app for iOS and Android is now in the Limited Updates phase. During this phase, bug fixes, updates for new features, and OS compatibility patches may stop, but Western Digital will continue to provide security updates for the app to address critical issues.

  • System log generates a comprehensive diagnostic report including the system's serial number, MAC address, and other statistical information.
  • System logs do not contain personal information, such as your documents or your photos.

Follow the steps below to get the system logs for My Passport Wireless, Pro and SSD.

  1. Connect to the My Passport Wireless Dashboard.
    For assistance, please refer to Answer ID 19786: Steps to Access the Dashboard on My Passport Wireless


  2. Click the Support button

  6. The .zip file from the system log will be downloaded from My Passport Wireless to the default download location of the web browser you are using.

    For this example, Google Chrome is used
