My Cloud: Remains on "Firmware Updating" Message or Not Available After a Firmware Update


 
 

Description


A firmware update on a My Cloud remains on the Firmware "Updating" Screen or a My Cloud is not accessible after a firmware update.
The reboot process did not complete.

Resolution


If a firmware update occurred and the My Cloud is not accessible or the firmware update processes remains on the "Firmware Updating screen.

  1. Press and hold the power button to power off the unit.

  2. Disconnect the Power Supply from the power source

  3. Connect the Power Supply to the power source

  4. Press the power button to power on the unit.

  5. After the LED is Solid Blue, login to the dashboard and verify the firmware was updated successfully.
