Description
Setup of a My Cloud Home fails when Private Browsing is enabled.
Private Browsing mode does not allow access to local storage during the setup process.
Resolution
My Cloud Home setup can be accomplished using alternate methods.
- Disable Private Browsing and attempt the My Cloud Home setup again..
- Use an alternate web browser such as Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, or Safari if on macOS.
- Use the My Cloud Home mobile app for iOS or Android.
