My Cloud uses indexing services for remote access to the service media content.
Services can be disabled when not used and when the My Cloud is used as a dedicated backup destination.
Follow the steps below to disable media and indexing services on a My Cloud.

Disabling Cloud / Remote access will prevent the indexing and thumbnailing of My Cloud content located in the "user created shares
IMPORTANT:
By turning off Cloud Service, you will loose remote acceess capability and will not be able to use any of the WD software such as MyCloud.com, My Cloud mobile app and WD Sync.
- Click the Settings tab to access the General section
- Scroll to the Cloud / Remote Access section
- Turn ON Remote Access to enable
- Turn OFF Remote Access to disable

- Turn ON Media Streaming to enable
