The Send Logs option in the My Cloud Home mobile app for Android and iOS:

  • Captures the My Cloud Home app logs in a text file.
  • Automatically opens a new support case with Western Digital Technical Support account associated with your email address.

How to Send Logs

Follow the steps below to send My Cloud Home mobile app logs to WD Technical Support:

  1. Open the My Cloud Home mobile app.

  2. Tap the 3-line Menu icon located on the upper left of the screen.

  3. Tap "Settings".

  4. Scroll down and tap "About".

  5. Tap "Send app logs".
  6. Wait for the "my-cloud-logs.txt" file to appear.

  7. Enter the "wdsupport@wdc.com" Email address into the "To" field.
    Append the "Subject" field of the Email with your WD support case number.
    Tap send.
