My Cloud Home Duo supports RAID1 and Max Capacity JBOD with a single large Data Volume.

IMPORTANT:
Changing from RAID1 to JBOD or JBOD to RAID1 is
Data Destructive.
This process cannot be undone and requires an Internet connection.
A change in Storage Modes will:
- Delete the Device Owner.
- Delete ALL Invited Users.
- Delete ALL content.
- Delete ALL Services.
- Inform the My Cloud Home servers that a System Erase has been done.
- Send an email to the Device Owner informing of the System Erase action.
- Take up to 20 minutes, depending on content size and type.
The device must be setup again at MyCloud.com/hello after a storage mode change. |
Use these steps to change the storage modes on Mobile and Web Apps.
Mobile
- Open the Mobile App.
- Tap the 3-line menu found at the upper left of the screen.
- Tap Settings.
- Click the My Cloud Home Duo.
- Tap Device Configuration.
- Select RAID1 or JBOD.
- Tap Continue.
- Enter the System Erase Code.
- Click ERASE ALL DATA.
A Connecting... message may show.

IMPORTANT:
Check the network cable attached to the My Cloud Home and the Internet
router if a System Erase code is not shown.
The account will be logged out after clicking ERASE ALL DATA.
Web App
- Sign in to the Web App.
- Click the 3-line menu found at the upper left of the screen.
- Click Settings.
- Click the My Cloud Home Duo.
- Select RAID1 or JBOD.
- Click CONTINUE.
- Enter the System Erase Code.
- Click Confirm.
- Click ERASE ALL DATA.
A Connecting... message may show.
