Can't Connect or Device Offline After Inserting a Replacement Hard Drive For My Cloud Home Duo



Description


Can't connect using the Web or Mobile App after inserting a hard drive.




Used Drives

My Cloud Home Duo does not support a hard drive with a format, partition, or data.


Empty Drives

It will stay offline with a breathing LED until the volume is done.
The rebuild can take 48 hours or more depending on the size of the drive and the number of files.


Resolution


Drives must be new or fully erased.
