My Cloud Home Does Not Enter Sleep or Standby Mode





Description


It does not enter sleep or standby mode.
Sleep or Standby Mode meand there is no disk activity for 20 minutes.


Resolution


Sleep or Standby Mode is not supported.
The Mobile or Web App can be used power off when not in use.


Only the device admin can shut it down.
Guest users cannot do it.


Web App

  1. Go to https://mycloud.com.

  2. Click SIGN INTO MY CLOUD HOME.
    Sign in as the admin user.

  3. Click Settings.

  4. Select a My Cloud Home under CURRENT STORAGE.

  5. Click SHUT DOWN DEVICE.


Mobile App

  1. Download the Mobile App.
     
  2. Sign into the Mobile App as the admin user.

  3. Tap the 3-line menu on the upper left of the screen.

  4. Tap Settings.

  5. Tap a My Cloud Home under CURRENT STORAGE.

  6. Tap Shut Down My Cloud Home.
