Steps to Configure Router to use Google Public DNS Servers


Network issues may need to use Google DNS servers on the Router.
It can resolve connectivity issues cause by DNS failure.

Configure the Router


  1. Login into the Router.

  2. Find the Network Settings.

  3. Add Google Public DNS.


  4. EXAMPLE:
    Primary DNS Server 8.8.8.8
    Secondary DNS Server 8.8.4.4
    Alternate DNS Server  local router or ISP provided

  5. Save the changes.

  6. Reboot the My Cloud and computer.
