- Media content located on a My Cloud Home can be added to iTunes using the "Add Folder to Library" option.
- The iTunes "Add Folder to Library" option can be used with the Local Area Network Share (LAN) or the Private User Space.

Content added to the Private User Space is only accessible using MyCloud.com, the My Cloud Home mobile app for Android or iOS and the WD Discovery MyCloud.com Login Desktop App.

Content added to the Local Area Network Shares (Public and TimeMachineBackup) cannot be accessed or seen using the:
Add Folder to iTunes Library Procedure
- Create a New Folder in the Local Area Network Share (LAN) or the Private User Space to host the media content.
The Plex Shared Music folder can also be used. - Open iTunes and Login using your Apple iTunes Account or create a new iTunes Library for My Cloud Home media conent.
To create a new iTunes Library for My Cloud Home content, please refer to Apple Article HT201596 Open a different iTunes Library file or create a new one. - Click File and select Add Folder to iTunes Library.
- Navigate to the "New Folder" or the folder already hosting the media content such as Plex Shared Music folder.

- The process could take more than 24 hours
- Do not turn off the My Cloud Home, allow the computer to sleep or shutdown the computer and allow the process to complete 100%
