Your privacy is a priority
Helping protect your privacy is a priority for us at Western Digital. We firmly believe that your content is yours, and we will not share your personal content such as photos, videos, and files without your permission.
What data do we collect?
Usage data may include items such as device configuration, CPU and other usage statistics by application, API calls, service crash information, network status, storage utilization, search terms and size and type of files.
How do we use this data?
When you share your device and app usage data, our analytics collects and periodically sends diagnostic and service usage information. This helps us improve the quality and performance of our products, services, and apps and personalize your experience including by sending push notifications.
By clicking "Agree to share", you agree to share your usage data with us. You can always adjust your choice later by visiting Settings.
Follow the steps below to allow or disallow your My Cloud Home device to send logs and anlytical data.

Enable Analytics through the Web App
- Sign In to My Cloud Home web app.
- Click the 3-line Menu icon located on the upper left of the screen or open the browser window to full screen.
- Click "Settings".
- Under "Current Storage",
click your My Cloud Home. - Click "Analytics".
- Click the "white circle".
- A "check mark" indicates analytics is enabled.
Enable Analytics through the Mobile App
- Open the My Cloud Home mobile app.
- Tap the 3-line Menu icon located on the upper left of the screen.
- Tap "Settings".
- Under "Current Storage",
tap your My Cloud Home. - Tap "Analytics".
- Tap the "Analytics" toggle button.
- A green toggle button indicates analytics is enabled.
