My Cloud uses indexing services for remote access to the service media content.
Services can be disabled when not used and when the My Cloud is used as a dedicated backup destination.
Follow the steps below to disable media and indexing services on a My Cloud.

Disable Share Level Media Serving
Media Serving can be disable at the share level to prevent unwanted content accessible on the network.
Follow the steps below to Turn Off Twonky DLNA Media Serving at the Share level.
- Click the Shares tab
- Select a Share
- Turn OFF Media Serving for the selected share
Disable Twonky DLNA Media Server
Follow the steps below to Turn Off Twonky DLNA Media Server for all My Cloud content.
- Click the Settings tab
- Click Media
- Turn OFF Media Streaming to disable
