My Passport Wireless mobile app for iOS and Android is now in the Limited Updates phase. During this phase, bug fixes, updates for new features, and OS compatibility patches may stop, but Western Digital will continue to provide security updates for the app to address critical issues.

Content located in the iOS 11 Files App on iPhone and iPad are not seen in the My Cloud mobile app.


Files downloaded in the iOS Files App are stored in it's own directory structure and cannot be accessed by the My Cloud moble app.


The iOS 11 Files app allows you view, preview, organize, store, and share content such as movies, music, pictures and documents from iCloud and other cloud-based providers.




Resolution


Use the My Cloud mobile app to open files that are already on the My Passport Wireless.
