My Passport Wireless mobile app for iOS and Android is now in the Limited Updates phase. During this phase, bug fixes, updates for new features, and OS compatibility patches may stop, but Western Digital will continue to provide security updates for the app to address critical issues.

Description
Thumbnails are not updated for edited images hosted on a My Cloud, My Cloud Home or My Passport Wireless device.
EDITED IMAGE:
The regeneration of thumbnail previews are not supported when existing images are edited.

Resolution
Follow the solutions below to generate thumbnail views on edited images.
Save As Different File Name
- Open the image in a 3rd party app and "Save As" a different file name after editing.
- Create a copy of the edited image using a different file name.
Content Database Rebuild
Rebuild the My Cloud Content database to generate new thumbnails.
