My Passport Wireless mobile app for iOS and Android is now in the Limited Updates phase. During this phase, bug fixes, updates for new features, and OS compatibility patches may stop, but Western Digital will continue to provide security updates for the app to address critical issues.

Important:  Cloud Services End of Support Notice!

My Passport Wireless mobile app Cloud Services has reached its end of support life cycle and have been removed from the app.

  1. Why are we doing this?

    We routinely make updates to our products and services to enhance the user experience. Keep an eye out for future updates.

  2. What services are being affected?

    Western Digital WD is focused on providing exceptional customer experiences with our products. With that focus, from time to time we retire features that are no longer consistent with Western Digital WD's customer experience ecosystem. Support for Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, Creative Cloud has ended. 

  3. What happens to my files?

    You will no longer be able to download the files directly from the cloud services to the drive using the app. You can continue to access your files on your cloud services by logging in to the services directly. The data on your My Passport Wireless device will continue to be accessible directly from the drive.

  4. When did this change take place?

    July 2022
