Description


Selecting a My Cloud Home device during the setup process shows this message.


Resolution


A firmware update can start when My Cloud Home is connected to the internet for the first time.
Wait for the update to complete before trying again.

The LED will go through these states instead of being 100% illuminated when it is powered on or rebooted.

Power On LED States

  • STATE #1: Solid white at power on.
  • STATE #2: DIM slightly for a few seconds.
  • STATE #3: Slow breathing (blinking).
  • STATE #4: Fast breathing (blinking).
  • STATE #5: Solid white and ready to be used.
