Description
A My Book Studio or Home Edition hard drive connected to a WD TV HD Media Player fails to wake up from sleep mode.
This issue is caused by the My Book Studio or Home Edition's firmware version 1.028 or earlier and how it interprets the read command by the WD TV HD Media Player.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, the My Book Studio or Home Edition's firmware can be updated to version 1.034 (or later). For instructions on how to upgrade the firmware of your My Book Studio or My Book Home Edition hard drive, please see the links below:
