Access the dashboard on a My Book Live or My Book Live Duo to see and manage the drive.


My Book Live Steps


  1. Connect the drive to a router with internet access.

  2. Connect the computer to the same router.

  3. Power On the My Book Live.
    Make sure the LED is solid green.

  4. Power On the computer.

  5. Open a web browser.
    Enter one of the URL or the IP Address of the My Book Live.

    • Windows: https://mybooklive/
    • macOS: https://mybooklive.local/
    • IP Address: https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

    Use the drive's name if it has been changed.

    EXAMPLE:

    • Windows: https://drivename/

    • macOS: https://drivename.local/


    View the dashboard.
