Some of our network drives include the Twonky Media server software. This allows users to access media files on the network drive from many Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) certified devices such as the Sony Playstation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360.

 | While the Twonky Server is enabled by default on drives (My Cloud, My Cloud Mirror, My Cloud EX2, My Cloud EX4, My Book Live Duo and My Book Live), it can be disabled. If the service is disabled, it will need to be re-enable before the instructions provided by Sony and Microsoft will work. To do this please follow the instructions in Answer ID 2891: My Book Live: Enable & Disable Twonky Media Server. The Twonky service is always running on the My Book World (White Light), My Book World II (White Light), and WD ShareSpace drives. |
